DOUBLE DOUBLE LAND LAND
Was a PLAY and EXHIBITION at Gallery TPW, co-sponsored by the Theatre Centre, worked on with lots of people in January 2009 in Toronto. Jon McCurley wrote and directed the play. In the play there's a place called Double Double Land that comes to the conclusion "to make things better you have to make them worse."

Play ended with interruption by a wedding party next door.
Backstage
The EXHIBITION applied "making things worse" to life. Working collaboratively: Zoe Barcza, Xenia Benivolski, Robin Fry, Miles Collyer, Matt King, Amy Lam, Cameron Lee, Jon McCurley, Bonny Poon, & Sarah Richardson.
Twenty-odd objects, incl. Cross-eyed D movie watching; Hedge Stairs; Vase the size of a Table-Top; Pyramid-style fork, knife, spoon, table and chair; Da Vinci's Memento; 24/7 Dresser; etc.
Helen Keller Suit: Put on the suit to experience no sound and no sight but heightened sense of touch (it's stuffed with mashed potatoes).
Nude Shirt: A shirt you can work in a day naked.
